HALOTHERAPY

Halotherapy also known as dry salt therapy is a holistic, natural therapy using micro particles of salt to provide better breathing, healthier skin, improved sleep, and overall wellness

People often find halotherapy sessions to be calming and rejuvenating.  It's like taking a refreshing breath of sea air without acturally having to go to the beach!

Halotherapy offers a relaxing and natural way to support your respiratory health and promote overall well-being by spending time in a salt-infused environment.

Benefits of Halotherapy

Provides relief for those who suffer from acne, dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis and more. Improves skin micro-circulation, skin moisture and pH of skin.

For those who suffer upper and lower respiratory issues such as sinusitis, allergies, asthma, bronchitis. Improves airway passage and reduces inflammation.

Halotherapy is effective in reducing anxiety. By unplugging and sitting in the salt booth you experience an instant sense of well-being and relaxation. It gives an opportunity to reconnect with your inner self.

History of Halotherapy

The origin of salt therapy began over 100 years ago in the Eastern European salt mines and caves. Halotherapy comes from the Greek word “halos” meaning salt. It is a an all natural treatment that mimics the microclimate of a salt cave. It was discovered that as the miners in these salt caves were chiseling, grinding, and hammering the salt, micro sized particles were being diffused into the air.

These miners were thriving with good health, rarely had any respiratory or skin conditions, and looked younger. Doctors started to take note of the miners and studies were conducted. Soon the first health resort in Poland was built offering salt baths. Halotherapy continued to evolve through the years to modern day halotherapy or dry salt aerosol therapy.
